This is one of the designs I did while at HL Studios. The digital team at Osprey approached us to design their new military history magazine. The brief was to produce something that was clean, visually attractive and that was similar to the BBC History Magazine, but not a copy.

After initial research of the market, I began to design the individual elements. Each would need to be easily adaptable for each new monthly addition.

The magazine had to have a contents page, a sneak peak for the monthly featured book, two main article designs, a quiz page, front and back cover and a battle in focus section. For the Battle in focus section, I created a logo to make it a readily identifiable section and give it a special status within the monthly digital publication.
